Good thing comes to those who wait

Have you ever feel like giving up?

That's what I felt when I  lost my job end of June 2011. My boss gave up on his business because it didnt make profits at all. So I have started to look for a job after I received the notice. I have sent dozen of applications by post mail and e-mail and fews days later,  all the application came back to me. I kept on applying, though. Three of another couple of applications called me for an interview but i got negative answers. It's difficult to get a job especially if a mother like me is not as flexible as those who are single and no kids at all. It was kind of depressing. I was on the verge of giving up. Begenning August I got a mail from McDonald's saying that they want me to come on Assessment Day, means i was one of the candidates they chose although I didn't have an interview, It was strange. LOL. 

To make it short, I have accepted the job, I worked at the counter as a cashier.  It lasted only 1 month because I quit the job. I was so disappointed how shift leaders treat their team-mates.Working there was not my goal, Lol. I only accepted it because it was my last resort.

" When the world says give up, Hope whisphers try it one more time" 

So, i kept looking on the job ads. A friend asked me if i want to work with her old employer, since she knew i was desperately looking for a job. So I said yes, she gave me some info about the company and I sent my application right away. I have waited couple of weeks before they contacted me. During those weeks of waiting I have sent another two applications to different companies.

finally BIMBAMBINO AG, called me for an interview and a week later they said that I will get the job. I was really happy even if the job is only good for 2 months. My first working day was last Friday, 11.11.11

Happy to meet my new working mates. The story does not end here. :-)

November 9, 2011 I had an interview with the Human Resources of AMAG and shop manager of AGIP. It was a very relaxing interview, and I was confident that I will get the job.

 November 15, I had my One-day- trial work, and really i liked it. I got positive comments, after 5 hours they didn't decide yet if I will get the job, instead they asked me to think it over if I really want and interested on the job and told me that they will call on coming friday. Today Thursday November 17, the manager called me and asked if I am still interested because they want to hire me :-) such a nice feeling.

The conversation on the phone ended with YES and SMILE on my face.

What is nice about it, is that I dont have to run after the bus, the working place is only 5 minutes walk from our apartment. :-)

I will start my second job beginning December, and hope it will last longer than my previous work :-)

So, if  its meant for you, you will get it no matter what. Just have to be patient because "Good thing comes to those who wait" .......
